Adding Colors & Plus Sizes

Hi!

It has been about a year and a half since we started selling the Ease-In2 swimsuit. We have taken it slow and steady, so as to not get overwhelmed. (I have owned two businesses prior to this, and know first hand how the company can take over and make stress the biggest thing in your life.)

We have put a total of $2.38 into marketing so far! All sales have been organic, meaning that they have come from folks just searching for a swimsuit that is easy to get on and off.

Our first production was for just over 500 suits, and we are proud to say that we have determined it is time to do the next run. Our partner and manufacturing consultant helped us out and gave us a bit of a price break at the 2500 suit level. This was a gift!

We purchased the fabric - to include 3 additional colors and 1 pattern - the elastic, the bra cups, the hygiene liners, the clips and the bags to ship them. All of that raw material then got delivered to Miami. This step just happened at the end of October! They received the materials, put them securely on pallets and are getting all of the paperwork together to ship 4 large pallets of raw material to the factory in the Dominican Republic that our manufacturing consultant works closely with. (And we did check out ownership and working conditions prior to making this choice. Sewing the suits in New York was just not an option for us - it costs too much due to it being a much smaller factory, located in Manhattan.)

We are currently waiting for the next ship - yes, actual ship - to arrive. One was cancelled due to some logistics issue. I will update with another post as soon as the pallets are floating over the water! I somehow love that they are making the trip by sea instead of air. More romantic somehow!

We have always offered Black, Cobalt (a beautiful blue), Sangria (a very nice color that is hard to describe). We are adding Galaxy (Navy), Sweet Taro (a light purple-ish color) and Midnight Monstera (the print).

Thank you for reading this!!! Have a great day!
